2021.11.26 19:55 Background-Trash1478 Vimspector Troubleshooting
I'm just looking for some general guidance here. I installed vimspector in neovim and I am trying to debug a C#/.NET application, as you can see in my .vimspector.json in the image below. I'm running into an issue I suspect is separate from vimspector altogether (Exception thrown: 'Microsoft.DotNet.Cli.Utils.CommandUnknownException' in dotnet.dll), but I have no idea how to troubleshoot this.
Does anyone know if/where vimspector keeps logs of what it's calling? Any other advice anyone can provide on how to troubleshoot an issue like this?

2021.11.26 19:55 purudpd My experience as a Non-EU immigrant and international student in Denmark
Hey Everyone, I decided to write about my experience as a non-EU citizen and the things I experienced in Denmark.
I came to Copenhagen for my Masters in Science in 2019. One of my main reasons to come here was that Denmark is considered to be one of the happiest countries in the world. I was going through a tough time in my personal life and my mental health was at a all time low. And so, I decided to give myself a fresh start and what better place than one of the worlds happiest countries. It was a difficult decision, but I was determined for a change.
I started my studies and my semester started with this huge gathering of students at the Matriculation Ceremony. It was a great experience but I did find socializing with fellow danes to be a bit challenging. Because while they could speak english very well, most preferred to speak in danish among themselves, with me feeling sligtly left out. But anyway I had a lot of University work, so I just drowned myself in that (also pandemic) and explored Copenhagen on my own. Its such a beautiful city and the parks are just amazing. The fact you can just walk to any part of the city on foot was completely new. I even loved the rainy weather of Copenhagen, which most danes seem to hate :D
However, its very expensive here, so I got myself a student job alongside my masters. But because of my own stupidity and trying to find houses very late, the only housing I got from my University costed 6300 DKK, a little less than the amount I made from my job, after tax :( (Thankfully my dad helped me here) For food, I relied on Food Sharing community who give out left over food from stores.
I didn't enjoy my University studies a lot. But I loved how students can even take courses from other universities and get their credits transferred, which is awesome awesome. After my university, I also got a great job and damn, the work-life balance + allowed holidays are amazing and unmatched anywhere else.
People are also generally very kind and initially I even used to get scared when strangers smiled at me at the elevator xD
However, I do feel that Copenhagen, or in general Denmark is not a very international friendly city. All bills, taxes, receipts, Pay-Slips, Hospital Appointment, Tax (Skat), Bank Communication etc etc is completely in Danish and survival here, without a translator application is almost impossible.
For example, this year in Feb, I got an email from Siri (Immigration ministry) that I had worked for more than the allowed number of hours (which I didnt) and that, if I dont furnish a response immediately (3 days), I will be declared illegal and arrested. It took me a while to decipher it and then I prepared my reply on the same day and provided them with proof. It was very stressful.
I had a similar experience with Skat, who had over-charged me about 20,000 DKK in taxes. Deciphering the Tax Receipt on Skat website was a nightmare. It was good that I had done prior research and prepared my documents to fight them on calls. (It got solved!)
I had a pretty bad experience with Hospitals too. I had to wait for 4 months to get an appointment with my eye-doctor, only for her to tell me that I may have glucoma and to come for some tests after 3 months. Those 3 months were very stressful again. (The test was a false positive).
So as you can see, a happy life with a lot of stress.
There has been a lot of anti-immigrant sentiments in Denmark recently (according to my danish friend) and they often put legal immigrants and refugees in the same box on tv debates. The government is also closing down a lot of English Masters Programs because they dont want to pay SU to international students. (Non-EU dont get any such benefits anyway) The idea being that they come here, take benefits and leave.
But I think it may be because many dont feel welcome here. Becoming a citizen is very difficult here.
My initial plan was to come and live here and have a happy life. But it seems that wont be possible. My plan was to also bring my girlfriend here, so that she can continue her study and we can possibly live here. But now, I feel after 2-3 years, I would most likely move out myself.
I wish the only requirement for getting a citizenship was being a good person and wilingness to also accept and respect danish values. But at the same time, I wish denmark was also more accepting of other peoples and their cultures. Acceptance, Respect and love is needed from both sides. If only we could look at each others similarities, instead of always searching for differences.
Thank you attending my Ted Talk. This is the first time I have written something like this.

2021.11.26 19:55 Tragictriumph Artificial Intelligence Gaming (AiG). “NFT’s with brains!” "Pre-Launch" Vehicle time trials will be streamed on twitch next week.
AiG is a U.S based project combining Artificial intelligence, video games, and NFT’s.
The future is coming fast and it's not difficult to realize it's digital.
At launch investors will be able to bid on race cars. We are creating our very own race game. This game has unique cars both in appearance and performance. Each car will have an identical NFT. Not only do the NFT’s look phenomenal when your car finishes, the top 3 AiG tokens will be deposited directly into the wallet holding the NFT. The NFT owner does not need to enter the race, view the race or be a part of the race to be rewarded. Here at AiG we understand not everyone is a race fan. We plan to integrate Ai Brains with a complete variety of games. This race game is just the start
With our first game already in development it's easy to see AiG will be headed for the moon immediately after launch.
AiG wants every investor to have as much info about what they are investing in prior to launch.
This is day 1 of building a community and informing investors what we are about. This post only contains the basics: a full gitbook with all the info on the project is on the way.
AiG plans to have weekly community races as well. Where community members will be paired with a car and rewarded if the car wins.
The possibilities of this project are endless. What you have read here is only the tip of the iceberg.
Feel free to join our TG. We have pinned a video of an example NFT. We will also be doing a AmA in the coming weeks.

2021.11.26 19:55 Sal4mander2000 Question about parsing a string
If I received for example a matrix of string type and the matrix was like this
10 2 7 6 8 4 5 6 How would I go about converting this string to an int matrix so I can access the numbers individually. For example if I wanted matrix I would want to number 10 as an int, not a string. Thank you

2021.11.26 19:55 AliMoody The missionaries are coming over... again
So, my wife (ex-mo) and I (never-mo) are taking lessons with the missionaries (we just finished our 3rd meeting with them tonight). We are absolutely not converting, but I wanted to know more about what the beliefs are through the lens of an active member so that I can have conversations with my in-laws. We very well may be their only investigators right now and they truly are very sweet kids. (They absolutely radiate anxiety, though. People clearly haven't been very kind to them, and they've both served almost all of their mission)
We want to show them that the world outside the church isn't as scary as they've been taught, and that there are still plenty of good, kind people who aren't Mormon. We've been sending them home with snacks and cooked dinner for them last week because I know that their grocery allowance is pitiful at best. We've considered asking them if they'd like to use one of our phones to call or email someone, but we're not sure if that would be well received.
We are also looking for questions or points to bring up that would make them think critically about the messages they're teaching without pushing them away or causing a debilitating faith crisis in the field. Any suggestions for questions to ask and/or other ways to support them through an objectively shitty occupation?
